Sree Jagannath Temple
The Sree Jagannath Temple is a prominent cultural and spiritual site, consecrated in 1908 by the great social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Dedicated to Lord Shiva (known here as Ezhava Shiva), the temple is significant because it was established to promote equality and break caste barriers in worship, reflecting the Guru’s reformist ideals. The architecture is beautiful, featuring traditional Kerala style. The temple complex is also a hub for various cultural and religious festivals and is beautifully maintained, attracting devotees and visitors interested in the social history of Kerala.
