In a shocking case, the skeleton (and skull) of a woman from Tamil Nadu was found in the pit meant for an elevator in an under-construction building in Thalassery. Police arrested the victim’s husband (an elderly man) who confessed to killing his wife during an altercation while intoxicated and disposing of the body in the pit.
